An owl was rescued after being caught in a soccer net in Toronto on Wednesday.
Brad Gates from Gates Wildlife Control told CityNews that a caretaker at Charles H. Best Middle School, in the Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West area, noticed that a great horned owl had become caught up in a soccer net.
A technician from the wildlife removal company then cut the tangled net from around the owl, freeing it to fly away.
